Danica is a magic user of humble means and little renown. She earns her living by selling and safeguarding the tools of the Art for fellow workers of magic.

When accused of failing to keep safe a magical staff, Danica agrees to steal from the magical works of Zoraster Arias in order to protect her reputation and her livelihood.

Little does she know that she has fallen into the web of a madman.

Held captive by physical, magical, and emotional ties, she is forced to aid Zoraster in his designs, and discovers secret desires deep within her that she had never acknowledged.

Childhood memories and natural beauty are worth preserving.

Daniel has fond memories from as far back as he can remember of the woods next to his house. He even had an imaginary friend who lived by the spring-fed pond at the heart of the wood. Though he would rather have the people who left it to him in his life, he has now inherited the place that gave him such great joy as a child.

Much to his surprise, he discovers that his imaginary friend isn't so imaginary. When he discovers the truth of Xantina, he begins a journey that will last for lifetimes, and generations.
