Started and finished a story today — WooT!<\/p>\n
It’s a quickie for the Lushstories quickie contest. \u00a0It clocks in at barely below the 1500 word limit, and I’ll probably start the editing process tomorrow.<\/p>\n
I’m calling it “Wash Away the Blues” and I love the intensity of it. \u00a0Odds are that this will be a Lushstories exclusive, since flash fiction generally doesn’t get much of a response on the story sites.<\/p>\n
Hoping for Monday, but I’m also working on another story, so that and long work hours could very well hold it back until Friday.<\/p>\n
Readers from other sites are certainly welcome to make a one-off trip to Lush to vote for it in the contest once it posts, though voting is only a small part of the determination of winners there. \u00a0The winners are chosen by a panel for the most part.<\/p>\n
Don’t let that stop anyone from showing their support, though \ud83d\ude09 \u00a0Anonymous voting is allowed for scores of 4 or 5, so if you think it’s worth that, you don’t even have to sign up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
