Tried switching up the perspective on Valentine’s Flowering, and that’s not really helping. \u00a0I’m just not getting the spark on this one, the catalyst that would reasonably ( within my reality ) get to the sex.<\/p>\n
Think I’m going to shelve this one for a while and work on something else. \u00a0Probably “Heart-Shaped Box”.<\/p>\n
Of course, thinking about that one, I haven’t really come up with the spark for it yet, either. \u00a0A lot of the time, that spark happens as I’m writing the opening – defining the characters and getting them into the same place at the same time. \u00a0That might hold true for this one as well. \u00a0Hope so, or that I get another idea, because I’d really like to have something in the contest.<\/p>\n
Not that I’ll ever win LOL \u00a0I just like the added exposure. \u00a0The only real chance you have to win is with Romance, Sci-Fi, NonHuman, GayMale, or one of the other categories that gets fewer, but higher votes. \u00a0I’m fine with that. \u00a0I know it going in, and the money isn’t that important to me. \u00a0Even the commissions I do are trades for things I find useful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
