  1. Version 1.0

    6 downloads

This is a compressed archive containing a .wmv video of a sex scene I scripted for Neverwinter Nights, utilizing the four romantic/intimate animation suites available. This scene is a slower, romantic type one. Down-and-dirty scenes will have faster editing, and more extreme angles. No sound, because my recording software doesn't recognize my speakers, so I have to record it through a microphone in front of the speakers. LOL I haven't coded in the background music or the naughty sounds yet anyway. The plan is to make some game modules set in my world that people can play through, and then also post a novelization of the storyline. This file is compressed in zip format, which can be decompressed on most modern Windows systems without additional software.

  3. So, while my writing drive is in the toilet, I've been playing Neverwinter Nights. I decided to try my hand at writing my own module once again. It's something I've started several times, but never completed. One thing I always wanted was to be able to integrate the sex animations that are available. It fits well with telling stories from the world of my writing as Dark. One I started looking, I discovered that one suite of such animations had been packaged into a form that automatically assigned them to all races and both sexes. After adding the hak pack to my test module and experimenting a little bit, I managed to get them working. The other major set of sex animations wasn't much more difficult. All of the custom animation slots were used up by the first suite of animations, so I couldn't go the route of the first suite. Fortunately, the second set exists primarily as a phenotype pack, meant to be added as a new phenotype that is switched to when you want to play those animations. Modify the phenotype.2da, add the new models in a hak pack, and there they were. Figuring out which number did what animation and how to sync them up nearly made my head spin, though. The first suite had been set up so both sexes had all animations. The second suite did as well, but they were on the same nodes. It was completely ass-backwards from the other one, and it took me a minute or three to wrap my brain around it. With that successfully working, I had quite a few sex animations, and some positioning tweaks + camera angles let me create a few unintended ones ( and will probably provide more as I think about the second suite ) What was lacking was the softer things -- kisses and hugs. There's a suite for that as well. Problem is, the only place you can get it is within a huge community expansion Hak called "Q". It was never offered as an individual download in the usual places. I don't want to force people to download a massive Hak of stuff I'm not using just to have one or two things. The plan if I finish the module is to release it here on the website, and then write a novelization of the gameplay as well. So, I wanted to create my own Hak pack that only has what I'm using. I downloaded Q, checked it out, and discovered exactly what I didn't want to see. The romance suite was the default additional animations within that expansion. I already have a default. I was hoping it was already set up as a phenotype, but no luck there. There are so many bloody phenotypes in that Hak that I couldn't even figure out which models belong to which phenol. So, I was at a loss. I did a little Google searching, and managed to come across an old thread where someone was trying to figure out how to use the suite. There, I found some instructions on how to transform the suite to allow same-sex characters to use the animations. A little farther down, I found a post talking about extracting them from Q. I was like, "YES!" Unfortunately, the poster didn't describe the process. Dammit. A little farther down, I saw that the original creator of the suite gave permission for the person who had extracted it. Nobody had been using it outside of Q because he'd never given permission for that. That got rid of one hurdle if I could find the damn thing. Then, salvation. Someone had downloaded the animation pack from a site of one of the first module builders to use it. He had permission to distribute it for his mod, which meant I had a place to download it from. Then, it was about two hours of studying that Hak pack, the two sets of sex animations, and a couple of other phenotype Hak packs to figure out how to create the new phenotype. I did the edits, packaged them up, attached them to my test module, and they worked! The next step is to create the same-sex phenotype so girls can kiss girls I also need to test to see if my other races work, because I've only tried the humans so far. For that matter, I really still need to test the other races on suite #2. So, I have the following to work with from the suites: Standing kiss, standing hug, him on top prone kiss, her on top prone kiss, female-only erotic dance, couples waltz, ( never going to use that ) missionary, doggy-style, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, doggy against the wall, face-to-face standing with him carrying her, face-to-face standing, aggressive missionary, rough doggy-style, fast doggy-style, standing deepthroat, prone deepthroat, ( with him fingering her ) standing 69, standing tit-job, prone tit-job. By fiddling with the first suite, I was also able to create a quite convincing face-sitting animation viewable from about any angle. I got a decent looking prone pussy-eating, so long as the camera is in the right place. It will look even better if I can time it to show the best part in the middle of the animation. I got a decent prone 69 and a decent her on her hands and knees blowjob as well. For some variety, I can use standard animations to simulate a standing handjob, a standing fingering, a standing mutual masturbation, and a blowjob with her kneeling in front of him. Tweaking the positioning will let me use most of the first suite's stuff for girl-girl as well. I'm pretty sure I have a strap-on somewhere in my model resources I've picked up over the years. For that matter, I need to find my erect male parts, because that will increase the number of angles some animations will be viewable from. Some of the first suite's animations could also be used as tribbing and tit-sucking if tweaked properly. I've managed to do some cross-racial stuff with the first suite as well. That's just the beginning. I haven't even begun to think about what I might be able to do with the second and third suite, or by combining them. If I can manage to reskin some kind of placeable to use the bed textures, I can also turn some of the standing positions into modified reclining positions with the right camera angles. It should provide me with an extensive array of sexual positions for the cutscenes in the module. That way, every partner and every session will be different through most of the game. With some randomization, they can all be different, but the abundance of positions will mean that there will be fewer repeats in each encounter. I also figured out how to add custom feats ( Epic Sexual Knowledge and Epic Sexual Reputation, anyone? LOL ) and create a dynamic sex journal that will tell you how many sessions you've had, how many threesomes you've managed, who you've slept with, etc. There's so much I've figured out how to do now that I can accomplish all the things that frustrated me on my last attempt years ago. I think I've even figured out ( via the dynamic sex journal code ) how to make a persistant "hub" of sorts that will let you store items in a place that won't take up space in your inventory across various modules, or to have a "trophy room" of sorts. I can also trap the chat line and use it as a way to let the player turn off sex animations, sex sounds, or both via typed commands. I'm tweaking existing NWN resources and sound files from the 'net to create sex-soundsets for every character and possible PC soundset as well. I figured out custom sound long ago, but I'm getting better at using audacity to tweak sounds to match existing tracks and cut existing tracks down into the words I want. "Come, my lady." The one thing I still can't do is to create type-restricted character inventory containers ( bags of holding ) that will only let you store certain types of items. I really wanted to make infinite quivers that would only hold arrows, potion satchels that would only hold potions, etc. There's simply no way in the engine to trap what happens with personal containers. Dammit. I'll probably still make them, because I like the idea of having an at-a-glance inventory rather than pages of identical bags that I have to put in certain places so I remember what's in the damn things. Everyone else will be able to use them as bags for anything, though. I'm OCD, so mine will only have in them what they're supposed to. I've also figured out much smarter ways of triggering events that are only supposed to happen once, get data from individual characters, do skill/ability checks without using a script for each and every one, track the plotline, etc. It will make the whole process so much easier once I start working on the actual game. I'll have all the technical stuff ready for quick inclusion so I can concentrate on writing the story. I just had to crow a little bit, because I'm really happy with what I've accomplished. Too bad I don't have a buttload of money. I'd commission some 3d artists to create some solo, undressing, and homosexual-specific animations for me LOL There's a severe lack of those that I could really make use of.
  4. Money is running a little tight right now, because my hours are getting low at work and I had to loan my sister some money over the last year or so, cutting into my cushion. So, I was looking for ways to cut back. #1 was my satellite T.V. I don't watch many channels as it is, so I went looking and found a package $10 cheaper that had my three channels I was worried about ( History, Discovery, and A&E ) Website wasn't letting me select it, so I called them to see what was up. Turns out that I would have to upgrade my equipment. It wasn't going to cost me anything except a hassle of waiting for someone to come out and change the box/dish. I wasn't looking forward to that, and it must have been obvious in my voice. Out of the blue, the rep offers to give me a $10 discount for six months with no change of equipment or channels. That's where the "I'll be damned" comes from. You don't expect that kind of thing from big T.V. So, I got my bill reduction with no hassle. If things haven't improved by the end of the six months, I can still downgrade. Now, I'm off to watch Agents of Shield on my DVR
  5. Screw it. I'm just going to post the link to the premium modules. It's as much for my reference as anything else, because I keep having to Google the thread every time someone asks me. LMAO http://forum.bioware.com/topic/139154-unofficial-links-to-redownload-previously-purchased-premium-modules/
  6. Decided to open up my old module I started making back in 2007 or so. It was called "Inheritance in Fightershaven". It had neat NPC scripts that kept them all active. People in the throne room roamed around, drank at the kegs, talked to each other, sat on the furniture, etc. Guards made their rounds through the castle. Girls in the bath splashed and moved around as they bathed. Yes, it has the nude hackpacks. I quit working on it after finishing the opening quest because one of my scripts broke. It had two different sets of NPC scripts for day and night. They both worked fine, but one day I did something that stopped the transition from day to night from working. No matter what I did, I could never get the night script to fire. So, I got frustrated and gave up. As you might guess, there were a lot of sex quests as well as the normal adventuring quests. Convince various people to join you in bed, and you earned experience and journal entries. Everyone in the castle recognized when you weren't wearing your armor ( and thus, with the nude hackpacks, naked ) There was one thing I'd forgotten about, though. I went down into the basement level where the servants had their quarters ( which were much nicer than you would think for a basement ) I walked up to the stuffy old chancellor with my female fighter character -- naked as the day she was born -- and talked to him. He cries out "Oh my god!" and immediately faints dead away. Full animation and thump of him hitting the floor. There I am, laughing my ass off at my own joke, because I'd forgotten it was there. It was like two minutes later before he roused himself and stood back up. It was so tempting to go talk to him and put him right back on the ground again. Just had to relate that.
  7. Pirates of the Sword Coast was a fun one. Played as my standard Fighter/Rogue hybrid, since I assumed that was the best thing for a pirate. It doesn't seem to cater to the rogue class, though. Started Wyvern Crown, but damn... This is a lot like a real D&D campaign. Very little magic, the first real fight I got into was damn near overwhelming odds, and I couldn't change my mind and take the easy path of riding the caravan once I'd decided to go after the treasure map. As soon as I walked out of town, I couldn't go back. You should really be able to sneak out, do that quest, and then go back to town. *grumbles* Anyway, I decided to let that one go for the time being. Playing through the main games with a pure Wizard character for the first time. Breezed through the OC, easily taking out enemies like the half-dragon Balor with pumped up missile storms Aribeth never even had a chance to cast her first whirlpool of death spell before I took her down. There were a couple of places where SoU were difficult due to magic resistant enemies. That's where I pump up my henchman, familiar, and summoned undead with buffs and let them eat the fuckers. Later on in Hordes, Spell Breach takes care of that problem. The demi-lich barely had a chance to look in my direction before my maximized Greater Missile Storm blew him into bits. So, I have the golem for the first time. Enhanced his strength, magic resistance, gave him true seeing and haste at creation. Haven't tried using the spell slots yet. Smashes pretty much anything LOL For the Golem, my familiar, and summoned undead, I use the following: Endurance or Maximized Endurance, Stoneskin, Protection from Elements, Bull's Strength. That tends to keep them alive long enough to do some damage -- which is usually mopping up the half-dead enemies I've devastated with AoE spells or missile storms The amulet of Undeath ( I think that's the name ) is great for my Evoker who can't use summoning spells. The Vampire it summons once per day is a great replacement for the Skeleton Chieftain when I need the additional meat shield or damage dealer. Put amulet on, summon, take amulet off, because it has stat penalties. For the undead with weapons ( Skeleton Chieftain and Vampire ) I also tend to add greater magic weapon, in order to give them a better chance to hit. The final battle to defend the seer was so much easier with a Wizard. Climb up onto one of the towers, cast empowered Delayed Blast Fireball into the commanders camp, wiping out everyone except him. Spell Breach him, then wipe him out with a missile storm. Continue AoE blasting the waves as the come in. Eventually, a couple crept through to the gate, and I couldn't find a place to hit the fuckers with magic missiles. So, eventually, they broke through. Climb back to the ground, Get in the dead center of the action, cast extended Mass Haste. After that, a couple of AoE spells to weaken the enemies for my speed-demon Drow allies routed the invading army. The battle in the city was no different. Blast the hell out of them with AoE, spell breach the commander, missile storm him to death, and then use my Cup of Lathlander from SoE for Circle of Healing right behind all my defenders -- most of whom had survived the battle at the gates. Renewed by my healing, they easily mopped up. Makes me wish I'd went ahead and decided to kill the Mind Flayers. I was worried about them, so I gave the big ugly brain the mirror again. Next time I play through as a wizard, the fucker is going down. Didn't even summon my familiar or undead for those battles. Having four allies may be bad for experience, but it's great for keeping fuckers away from me while I blast them into oblivion. *evil grin* I never tried summoning both my familiar and an undead creature after getting the golem. I may have to try that before I finish the game. That's a lot of meat shields. And in the maker's sanctum, I highly recommend having a Pseudodragon familiar. While the golem is immune to magic, that doesn't apply to a Pseudodragon's breath weapon. If you come in fully rested and buffed with its 2-4 available breath weapons, it saves you a lot of charges on the Golem smasher, which you can then use on the Maker's guardians. Once you've got the golem, that's probably the last time the familiar or undead are useful, though. They don't have the HP or damage output to validate the loss of experience. You're better off giving the golem your full attention with buffs and healing. Two Henchman and the golem works just fine. I'm sure the golem will run out of steam eventually, now that I'm in hell with him. Even with Maximized Endurance and Buffs, I'm sure the badass enemies to come will be able to cut him down. I'll have to choose between Aribeth and Deekin this time, though. I found out that he's the one Henchman who can go into the Underdark with you, so I took him. It will depend upon whether the enemies are getting to me before I can let loose with my devastating magic. If I need a meat shield, it will be Aribeth. Otherwise, Deekin is providing me with a lot of nice support magic. Basically, having fun. I know everyone would rather that I was writing, but I've found that playing NWN or Might and Magic is a good way to get me out of a funk. I've got something to do all the time for at least a couple of weeks ( more if I play premium modules or go on to one of the other games in the series ) and that keeps me from sitting around being depressed because I'm too depressed to write. That eventually leads me to pick up my pen again.
  8. Frikkin' sweet! Just discovered the one benefit of the Bioware hack that happened a couple years back. When they finally put back up the authentication server for the premium modules, it was set to "Authenticate Everyone". That means that all you have to do is download the premium modules, install them, and you can play! All it takes is a quick Google search to find the still-existing downloads. I'll finally be able to play Pirates of the Sword Coast, Wyvern Crown of Corymyr, and Infinite Dungeons If anyone needs a pointer to the download links for the premium modules not available with the GOG Diamond version of NWN, don't hesitate to ask! I would highly recommend that anyone interested download and play these immediately. God only knows how long EA will keep the authentication server up and running. Now is your chance to play those three modules, so you'd better do it!
  9. Fitz at the end of the first episode was frikkin' epic! I honestly don't know if I've seen a better portrayal of desperate rage. His face in that final scream... Damn. Then we come around to tonight's episode, and once again it's Fitz and Simmons stealing the show. Won't say anything in case anyone hasn't watched the episode yet, but the whole scene with them is brilliance from start to finish.
  10. Check the new Bus! Can't wait for Tuesday!
  11. The new quarterly tracks are up: Lit: http://www.darkniciad.com/hotlink_pics/All_3_Names_08_01_15.htm SOL: http://www.darkniciad.com/hotlink_pics/All_3_Names_sol_08_01_15.htm Lush: http://www.darkniciad.com/hotlink_pics/lush_stats_08_15.htm It looks like I might just earn the Millionaire's badge at Lush before the next quarter starts
  12. A little jump off the Ant-Man topic, here's how I rank the modern Marvel movies and shows -- and not just the MCU ones, but those produced by Sony and Fox as well. Lots of ties in here. Some things like Blade aren't in here, because I'm only going back to X-men as "modern" As much as anything, how many times I've watched them is the determining factor. A lot of the stuff in the middle where the huge blocks of ties are have such small differences that they should almost be one giant block, rather than several. They may float around in my head from time to time as well. 1) Captain America: The Winter Soldier I have watched this so many times, and it never gets any less awesome. I just watched it again tonight. 2) Guardians of the Galaxy: Pure fun, great action, and some truly powerful moments as well. 2) The Avengers: Yes, this is a tie with Guardians. I simply cannot give one the edge over the other. The movie nobody thought was possible, done masterfully. 3) Iron Man: Much like Winter Soldier, this just never gets old. 3) Agents of Shield: Total Coulson fanboy, I know. 3) Daredevil: Marvel goes dark and gritty to great effect! 4) Avengers - Age of Ultron: It may not be the best of the Marvel Movies, but it's nevertheless awesome. 5) Ant-Man: As I said, the latest outing proves that Marvel can turn the most obscure characters into an enjoyable cinematic experience. 6) X2 - X-men United: One compound word - Nightcrawler! 6) Spider-Man: The original is, in my mind, great. 6) Spider-Man 2: Hangs right in there with the original. 7) Thor: Some great fun, Clark Gregg gets to shine as Coulson, and a powerful moment at the end. 7) Captain America: The First Avenger: A great period piece that does things right. 7) Spider-Man 3: Barring the emo Peter and dancing scenes, I really enjoyed this. Sandman in particular was brilliant from beginning to end. 7) Iron Man 2: Squeaks in on some awesome humor and fight scenes. 7) Incredible Hulk: While it may be the worst performing MCU movie, I thought it did a damn good job. 7) X-Men: The original X-film is a classic that, along with Spider-Man, really set the stage for the golden age of Marvel Movies. 7) Agent Carter: Gets props for the same reason as First Avenger. 8) The Wolverine - could have done without the mechanized Silver Samurai and Viper, but still quite enjoyable. 8) Thor: The Dark World - This one is weak on humor, feels disconnected from the rest of the MCU, and has a really weak villain, but the Thor/Loki dynamic helps pull it up a bit. 8) X-Men First Class - A journey back in time that does a damn fine job. 8) X-Men Days of Future Past - Some brilliant stuff that undoes the mistakes of the past. Both of the newest X-films are close to moving up a rank into that giant #7 tie. 9) Iron Man 3: The Mandarin reveal absolutely ruined this one for me in the theater. It's grown on me since, and "Hail to the King" redeems it somewhat, but it will always suffer from that first impression with me. 10) Amazing Spider-Man: The reboot has always felt weak to me. 11) X-Men 3: As much as I hated the deaths, some great things like the Fastball Special and the Juggernaut make it fun in places. 12) X-Men Origins: Wolverine - despite horrible CGI and the rape of Deadpool, it edges out the bottom tier in a few places. 13) Fantastic Four - 13) Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer Both are just "meh" 14) Ghost Rider 15) Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Both either have too much Johnny and not enough Ghost Rider, and not enough Cage. They're just really weak. 16) Amazing Spider-Man 2: As weak as the first outing felt, this one really disappointed me. It was hard to make Power-Rangers Green Goblin from the Rami films look good, but this film did it in spades! 17) Hulk: The old Hulk movie is just plain terrible from start to finish.
  13. Here we go It doesn't exactly nail my feelings, but demonstrates where I would place Ant-Man well. It's firmly in the middle of the pack, and proves beyond any doubt that Marvel can take the least of their characters and translate them into enjoyable cinema experiences. If it were me, I'd have reversed Iron Man 2 & 3. Winter Soldier would be #1, with Guardians and Avengers tied for #2.
  14. Final editing is complete, and the story should come out on 07/24/15 at Literotica and Storiesonline if nothing goes wrong.
  15. First things first, It's somewhere in the middle. Not Winter Soldier/GotG level, by any means. I'd put it somewhere in the Dark World range. Well worth the watch, and in my opinion, worth spending the money to go watch it in the theater. The story is focused, but there are more than enough ties to the larger MCU to make it feel like part of it. I would actually say that this movie feels more connected to the larger MCU than Thor: Dark World. Falcon was already shown in the trailer, and he gets at least as much action in this as he did in Age of Ultron. I would say more. The mid-credit and end-credit scenes are both well worth the wait. Hang out, by all means. As has been mentioned before, we get some glimpses into the MCU between Captain America: First Avenger and the original Iron Man -- circa the 1980s. Two important MCU characters ( and actors ) show up in these scenes. So, that's three with the Falcon. Other scenes bring that number up to five. We also see some historical milestones in these scenes linked to other movies, such as Winter Soldier. There are connections to the ABC television shows as well, but they're also connections to the MCU. No Coulson, modern SHIELD, Secret Warriors, Inhumans, etc. No ties to the Netflix segment of the series side either. Regardless of all of this linking, it does not feel like it's setting up other movies the way Iron Man II did. It is an Ant Man movie throughout. There are some good laughs beyond those already shown in the trailers, and even some where the punchlines in the trailers get a second punchline that's just as funny. The trailers also have alternate lines that aren't as sanitized in the theatrical version. The core cast is all solid, and give great performances. There's one bit near the end that feels rushed, but they also play it for some good laughs, which makes that forgivable. It's not all laughs, though. There's solid drama in there as well. It's another fine addition to the golden age of Marvel live action.
  16. Didn't finish that other story, but the change was a move up to #196 with 1098 author favorites as "Like Riding a Bike" settles down to a trickle of new activity.
  17. I already had a pretty good idea for Dale's story, but had a brainstorm today. Making notes, digging up references, and getting stuff together so I don't lose it. One of the things that sparked the idea was searching for a new earth-friendly backdrop for the story. I came up with honeybees. I'm not going to give anything away, but that dramatically changed his love interest, and sparked a lot of world-building for the Wood universe. Now, I'm faced with a major problem, though -- the title. I want something to hearken to the bee theme. There are all sorts of things that sound good as a title. Queen of the Wood... Honey of the Wood... The problem is the tradition of ending every story with the title as the end of the last line. Trying to squeeze any of those title ideas in as an ending line is perplexing me. Feel free to chime in if you can think of any bee-centric words that would sound good in the ending line of a Wood story LOL
  18. And... Rethinking. I honestly don't remember what Saj's wife was named. I need to dig up the character sheet. Carol was actually Darkni's wife in the game, as evidenced by his character sheet, which I've scanned and added to one of the "about" pages. The more I think about it, the more I like that name for the character I'm building for Saj's wife, though. I don't believe Darkni's wife has ever been named, so that would free me up to give her whatever name I like. Neither of these women had a role in the game like Devan, Christi, and Alicia did, so I'm not really going too far afield by giving them some real character and backstory. In thinking about telling the story of the assault on Normandal and Egoria, I realized I don't have a thief in the party. There wasn't one in the game. I dealt with locked doors and such via magic and brute force. For purposes of telling a story, having one makes more sense, though. I don't want to use Raven. But, Mindblind's connection and friendship with her gives him the knowledge to deal with the underbelly of society. So, he could find someone when the group needed a person with skills of questionable legality. Enter Carol. The way the story is developing in my head, she's a thief of generally noble nature. Born in Ferrartene, her parents were acrobats and burglars with a particular scheme of casing marks by masquerading as the nobility or other wealthy people. Carol was brought up in the family business, and has their skills, including fighting with daggers, a short sword, and the martial arts. She's no ninja, nor is she a master of the dagger like Raven, or as good of a thief, but she has a wider skill-set. Because she's used to the charade of wealth, she knows how to move in polite society. I like that for once they become the nobles of Egoria. I also love the idea of a knight and a thief ending up together. It makes for interesting possibilities in the blooming of their relationship. So, her parents miscalculate on a job, and end up getting killed. Many people know her face, so her cover is blown in Ferrartene. She takes what coin and supplies she can and flees into Egoria, where it's less likely the authorities will cooperate with those in her home country than somewhere like Freeland or the Protectorates of Armand. I picture her history story starting in Leonar ( the capital of Egoria ) at eighteen like everyone else. Don't know if I'm going to have her be a virgin or have some experience from living on the dodgy path. The latter seems more likely, though she's probably had nothing but unsatisfying, hasty sex. Someone she meets in Leonar will be the one to show her what good sex is. With that history in mind, I'll most likely start with a short set in the same vein and time period as King Thakkorias. Fresh new rulers, trying to learn how to handle the reins of power and settling into a relationship that doesn't involve being on the road and fighting battles all the time. This all popped into my head today, and I've been working outlines an such for most of the day. Now, with the brainstorm recorded, I can finally try to get back to what I was writing LOL Her story may even emerge before her husband's, because I keep running into roadblocks with him, while her story is clearer in my head.
  19. And today is the day I officially pass last year's total blocked spammers, which was the record. Over 1270 for the year already.
  20. Up to 275 blocked for the month. And that's only one layer. Add a few more for the second layer of protection, and at least a few trying to use an IP that was already blacklisted I think I'm about 160 or so from breaking last year's total. As I always say, there's some serious desperation in the spammer community if they're trying so hard to spam my site LOL
  21. Holy. Fucking. Shit. LOL Well, that solves my problems with the last episode. The context overwhelms the build-up and justifies it completely. Not going to say anything else because anything and everything else is spoilers. In a couple of days. The finale had a lot to say, and so do I. It's going to be a long wait, but at least we know the mid-season break is going to be covered by Agent Carter again next year. W00t!
  22. 73 spammers blocked in only 9 days so far this month. Looks like they're trying to catch-up from falling just short of 200 last month
  23. http://www.darkniciad.com/hotlink_pics/All_3_Names_sol_05_02_15.htm And there's the new stat track for SOL. Half a million downloads and almost 20k votes. SOL has been messing with how stats are calculated and displayed hardcore over the last few years. It seems to have stabilized now, so hopefully the track-to-track changes will mean something now. Many of my older stories ( mainly those with multiple chapters ) lost as much as half their votes since the last time I tracked my SOL stats. ( which was in 2012, but I decided not to add it to the page for reasons I can't remember ) I strongly suspect the now-defunct TPA score votes were completely eradicated, rather than being transferred over into normal votes, as was originally explained. Oh well. The constant shake-ups at Lush and SOL are the biggest reason why I haven't kept up with those tracks the same way I have for Lit. We'll see if that's changed now.
  24. And the air-conditioner just went live for the first time this year. Odds are I'll be breaking out the shorts for Monday as well.
  25. http://www.darkniciad.com/hotlink_pics/lush_stats_05_15.htm Updated my Lush stats. I'm going to start doing this quarterly as well. It's shocking how many votes, favs, and comments you lose there from people removing their accounts. That's nothing compared to the massive anonymous vote purge that happened a while back, though. Some of my oldest stories lost half of their votes. Otherwise, since the last stat posting, I've added a shitload of new stories and removed all the incest ones. I could probably change all of them to "step" and repost them in the taboo category, but... Meh. Pushing close to a million views there, which puts me close to 11 million overall. I'll see what it looks like once I add in the SOL downloads. Tomorrow, I'll likely do the same with Storiesonline, and also continue to update it quarterly from now on. I'll probably remove the "median views" and "wordcount" columns. The first because it's to annoying to update, and the second because it's irrelevant.
