Quickie coming soon.

Just finished a quickie for the contest at Lushstories.  The plan is to get it out for editing and try to get it posted there tomorrow.

Probably save it for Lit and SOL until next Friday.

Have a couple of other stories that have been in progress longer, but this one was talking to me today.  ( Started and finished today )  I’ve learned not to ignore a story that’s talking to me.  LOL

New stuff on the way.

I finished the first draft of a new story a couple of days ago.  I’m going to start working on the first-pass edit either today or tomorrow.  It’s called “Taste the Rainbow” and will be an entry in the “This is Hardcore” contest at Lushstories.

It’s a naughty college sex story, and as the theme of the contest implies, it has an edge.

I’m still trying to figure out where to work it into my release schedule next week. ( Or technically, this week, since it’s Sunday )  Chapters of Jackin’ Jill as Les Lumens will be coming out on Tuesdays and Fridays, so those two are out.  I’m currently leaning toward Wednesday, since there doesn’t seem to be any particular day that is better or worse than another on Lushstories.  That will give it a couple of days of exclusive time if I plan for it to post on Lit and SOL the following Friday.

A same-day posting on Lit and SOL isn’t as much of an issue as it would be at Lush, and that’s one of the better days on those sites.

That would also have me putting it in the queue at Lit on Wednesday.  The more I think about it, the more likely it is that will be the plan.

The other story in progress is a Milf ( genuine Milf – has a daughter ) story called “A Fine Substitute”.  I’m about halfway through the build-up of that one.  I think this is going to be a quickie on the shorter end of my average story length in this pen name.

Just thought I’d drop a line about upcoming events, since I’ve been so quiet through my slump.

Ya think?

You may have noticed I’ve been in a bit of a slump.  LOL

It’s a lot of things, and trying to list them off would take forever and a day.  Instead, I thought I’d post up a couple of the things I’m kicking around while I try to get back up to speed.

“A Fine Substitute” is about a couple in a friends with benefits situation.  They’re about to enjoy some of those benefits when she gets a call requiring her to come into work.  She feels bad about leaving him with blue balls, and sees an opportunity to alleviate some of the stress at home while helping him out with the problem she caused.

“Something Afoot” is still preliminary, but if footjobs and stockings are your thing, it should be a treat.

So there’s a couple of things.  No plans to participate in the April Fools contest at Lit.  The idea simply isn’t inspiring me.  I have a feeling this will be a bust as a contest idea, but I suppose I could be proven wrong.

I’m alive, I’m just struggling with motivation again.

“Incredible” news.

First, apologies for not posting the Lit and SOL links here on my blog, Twitter, or Facebook.  I don’t have any real excuse other than laziness.  You can find them linked on those sites from the website, either on the Latest Releases or My Stories pages.

As to the news, it’s doing well in the contest at Lush.  More comments than the bulk of the stories in the contest, a solid vote total ( at least if my timeline count is correct, since actual vote totals aren’t shown while a contest is running ) and better than average view numbers.

Of course, that doesn’t mean jack with respect to placing in the contest.  The only thing the reader voting counts toward is the 10 votes to qualify.  Everything else is up to a panel of judges.

At Lit, it’s my third story outside a contest to break the 1000 vote mark.  It’s pulled in over 40 story favorites, quite a few ( rare, nowadays ) public comments, and a few emails.  It has solid view numbers, and a better than 2% vote to view ratio, which is great for Lit.  Holding a 4.67 score as well, which is nice.

The author favorites coming in after posting this story have also pushed me over the bar into the top 200 all-time favorite authors on Lit, and still climbing.

On SOL, it has a solid score, and has garnered a couple of emails ( also somewhat of a rare thing ) The big things there are that it picked up a glowing review on the site, and climbed all the way to #3 on the weekly downloads list.  On a site with such a bias toward epics, having a short story pull in those kind of download numbers tickles me.

Even before all that good news started coming in, I was working on follow-ups, though.  I don’t usually do that in this pen name, but these characters were still talking to me, and doing so loudly, so I’m writing it down.  I’m probably three quarters through a Ch. 2, with at least a Ch. 3 to come.

There’s even a possibility of a website exclusive, non-canon addition of it that fulfills a request I seem to get every time I write one of these stories with these character archetypes.  We’ll see about that.  All of the stories on my “Hot Shorts” page so far are unconnected one-shots, and I’d always intended to post continuations of stories there for readers who visit the website.

Anyway, that’s all the news for now.

Never saw that one coming.

“Send in the Clone” just placed second in the “Toy With Me” contest at Lush.

Never saw that coming, because as far as I knew, it hadn’t received the necessary ten votes to qualify by the time the contest ended.  Surprised, and naturally happy about it.

No clue what I’m going to do with the store credits that are the prize, though *laugh*

Dip at SOL & Lush – Clone in Ebook form

“Dip in the Lake” is up at Storiesonline and Lushstories.  Doing well at both places, and at Literotica for the contest.  No chance of winning the contest, but lots of votes and favorites, as well as attracting eyes to my other stories, which is the real goal.

I also converted “Send in the Clone” over to Ebook format.  It’s available in RTF and Kindle .prc on my downloads page.

When I scrolled through my numbers yesterday, I realized that “Nude Holly Day” has hit “Famous Story” status at Lush, ( 30k views ) so I added that award to the story information.

My last several stories have all also made the toplist for downloads at SOL.  Usually, it’s in the 20s, but a few have climbed nearer the top.  The site has really improved as far as readership goes the last year or so.  It was down for a long time, and is getting back up to where it was when I first started there.

That’s it for now.  Brainstorming Halloween stories as well as a few others.  Feel free to make suggestions.

Locating stories on Literotica

Literotica started adding more stories per day to the site, in order to bring down the long lag between submission and posting.  The bad thing is that the new story list has become bloated, with brand new stories ending up on page 2.  Even page 1 could make your eyes go crossed if you’re trying to find a specific author or category.

At the same time, they’ve expanded the individual category hubs.  Stories stay on the hubs longer, and they’re more targeted, so your best bet is to leave the main New Stories list behind, and start focusing on the hubs.

Scroll down to “Erotic Stories”, then click the link for the categories that get you hot and bothered 🙂

Lush update

In case anyone is wondering, Lush chose to remove the incest category, so all those stories I had posted there are now deleted.

They are all still available on Literotica, Storiesonline, and as Ebooks in Kindle .prc and RTF format here on my website.

Kind of in a serious motivation slump right now.  Trying to find a storyline that gets me jazzed enough to get back in the swing.

Apologies for the drought.  I go through them now and again.

A Pink Slip-pery Slope

Well, so much for “mulling it over” 😀  I finished the first draft of “Pink Slip-pery Slope” for the Lushstories “Seduction” contest last night.

That one will go into editing before “Breasts to Go” simply because it does have a deadline – though that deadline is 10 days away.

If work isn’t a living nightmare, it will go up at Lush sometime during the week.  I’m hoping for the 14th, because it does have a bit of a Valentine’s Day connection.  Once it posts at Lush, I’ll put it in the queue at SOL, hoping it will go up later the same day.

Because of the lead time at Lit, it will probably wait until Sunday to go in the queue there, for an expected release the following Friday.

I don’t want to risk an accidental Sunday release at Lit.  That’s the kiss of death for reads.

Diamond Valentine in editing

Diamond Valentine is off for editing.  I should have it ready to put in the Lit Valentine’s contest tomorrow, so it should come out early Tuesday morning.

In other seasonal news, I just added another drop-down menu to the “My Stories” page.  With it, you can select my stories by season for some holiday inspiration 🙂

The list of seasons/holidays will probably expand in the future.  For example, I only have one story set on Labor Day, so that one currently falls under “Summer”.  If I write a second, I’ll add “Labor Day” as a selection.  If I write a Thanksgiving story, I’ll add that option right away, because there’s no existing option that covers it the way summer covers Labor Day.
